The devil's tactics..

The enemy of our soul receives GREAT pleasure in misguiding our thoughts. It doesn't matter to the enemy if we attend Church, claim to be Christians, pray or even live a Holy life. What he does care about is the small things. The Word says, "The little foxes spoil the vine!" Who is The Vine? Jesus Christ is the vine we are only the branches that the enemy works on to get to the vine. Since the beginning of the devil's existence, he's been bent on destroying The Vine! It is not about us. Never has been and never will be.

Recently I fell prey to the cunning whispers of the enemy, as we all do from time to time. I heard the words as spoken to the Prophet Elijah, "I only remain!" Shame on me for listening to the lies from hell. That is neither true nor has it any relevance to the Kingdom. If we can't have our feelings hurt, bear the cross of suffering for His name, HOW do we expect to endure the hardships we are going to face as we near His return. I repented of my imperfection, forgave the hurt and am back to show the devil I am stronger now because of his buffeting.

The enemy uses the same old tricks generation after generation. We humans are so HUMAN! We fall prey to his devises because he knows we are about self. Peter fell prey to it; he took his eyes off of the answer and looked at self. Elijah fell prey to it; he ran from Jezebel (the devil) and hid himself. It wasn't about him it was about the Power within him!

God help me / us to remember, learn from the past, quit letting the devil use us to our won hurt, it is not about us, it is Him and He is in control of the good times and the bad. Though he slay me STILL I will trust you. We are so our own worst enemy!

We can save ourselves a lot of grief if we’ll not allow the whispers of gloom to penetrate our minds and hearts. Resolve to not let it be about us and thank Him for allow the hard times and hurts to come our way.

I know easier said than done.. But perfect practice makes perfect. You didn't get where you are in a day nor will you be perfected in a day. Strive to enter in. It's a mind set and the enemy is working on your thoughts every second of your day looking for an opening.

To Him be the Glory!
